Perpétuant le dialogue entre Dior et Sarah Moon, cet ouvrage rassemble, dans un coffret, les images réalisées par la photographe, dont la plupart ont été prises spécialement pour cette publication - notamment à la Fondation Le Corbusier ou aux archives de la maison Dior. Le 1er volume présente 36 photos en noir et blanc des créations de Christian Dior de 1947 à 1957 ; le deuxième est consacré aux créations des directeurs artistiques de la firme entre 1958 et 2015 ; le troisième présente 38 tirages réalisés depuis l'arrivée de Maria Grazia Chiuri à la direction artistique de la maison, en 2016.
Continuing the dialogue between Dior and Sarah Moon, this book brings together, in a boxed set, the photographer's images, most of which were taken especially for this publication - notably at the Fondation Le Corbusier or in the Dior House archives. The 1st volume presents 36 black-and-white photos of Christian Dior's creations from 1947 to 1957; the second is devoted to the creations of the firm's artistic directors between 1958 and 2015; the third presents 38 prints made since Maria Grazia Chiuri took over as artistic director of the house, in 2016. |
