Catalog published on the occasion of the eponymous exhibition held at the Hayward Gallery, London, from October 13, 2010 to January 9, 2011 and at the Haus der Kunst, Munich, from February 10 to May 15, 2011. It explores the innovative interactions between visual art and dance since the 1960s, highlighting artists and choreographers who create sculptures and installations that invite the public to become actors and dancers. It reveals how choreography goes beyond mere notation to invest sculptural and participatory space.
