Ce livre rend compte d'un projet mené entre le Bénin et la Belgique, fruit d’une collaboration entre l’AVPTTA (Bénin), l’ENSAV La Cambre (Belgique) et l’École du Patrimoine Africain (EPA) de Porto-Novo. Ce programme a réuni artisans, étudiants et enseignants autour du tissage traditionnel d’Abomey. Il explore le tissage comme patrimoine vivant, terrain de création, d’échanges et d’émancipation. L’atelier du palais du roi Agonglo y devient un laboratoire culturel et pédagogique.
This book reports on a project carried out between Benin and Belgium, the result of a collaboration between AVPTTA (Benin), ENSAV La Cambre (Belgium), and the École du Patrimoine Africain (EPA) in Porto-Novo. This program brought together artisans, students, and teachers around the traditional weaving of Abomey. It explores weaving as a living heritage, a field of creation, exchange, and emancipation. The workshop at King Agonglo's palace becomes a cultural and educational laboratory. |
