L'ouvrage explore les représentations du féminin au XVIIIe siècle à travers un dialogue entre peintures, vêtements d'époque et créations contemporaines. Catalogue of the exhibition of the same name, held at the Musée Cognacq-Jay in Paris from 25 March to 20 September 2026. The book explores representations of femininity in the eighteenth century through a dialogue between paintings, period garments and contemporary creations. It examines the evolution of dress and aesthetic codes, as well as the influence of fashion merchants and painters such as Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun in shaping ideals of beauty.
